How large is your event space?

Our facility is approximately 7500 SQFT and is comprised of a stand alone bar area with lounge, a bridal/ green room suite, catering prep space, and a large main hall. The bar area can accommodate groups of up to 60 people and the main hall, can accommodate up to 300 people, seated and served.

What type of events can you host?

We are equipped to host a huge variety of events: weddings, rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, conferences, trade shows, seminars, markets, you name it. Our unique space can be configured for almost any purpose!

Do you have in-house catering?

We do not have in-house catering. We allow you to choose your caterer, and can provide a list of preferred vendors. We have a large catering prep area, with a commercial refrigerator, warming cabinet, prep tables, ice machine and dishwasher.

Do you have on site parking?

We have plenty of on-site parking for guests and vendors; a luxury in Downtown Charleston!

Do you require a “Day-Of” Event Planner?

Yes, we require that you have a Day-Of Planner for all weddings and private events. Our on-site events director will coordinate with your private event planner to ensure every detail is considered.

Do you allow alcohol on site?

We do! Union Station has a beer and wine license, and can sell those alcohols by-the-drink. If you would like to provide your guests with liquor and spirits, we require all event hosts to use our alcohol catering service, Bar Cart, LLC. We provide a number of different bar packages, based on number of guests and budget. Bar packages are priced per person, per hour.

How is load-in and load-out handled?

Our facility is ground level, making load-in and load-out extremely easy! A large garage door allows event rental companies, vendors and food service to prepare the space for your event with ease.
